Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. for Freeman Louis Bridges, Sr. who entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 70. Greater Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Alex Wesco, Jr. is Pastor.

He was the beloved son of the late Hayes and Malissa Bridges. 

A native of Picayune, MS (Goodyear Community), Freeman accepted Christ at an early age. He attended George Washington Carver High School in Picayune, MS and Job Corp in New Mexico.  He was a former employee of Plywood and Panels, The Department of Transportation and Development of New Orleans, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Feron and Freeman Bridges, Jr.; three sisters, Roxie Belton (Pastor Frank Belton, Jr.), Emma Brides and Alma Barnes (Pastor Lee M. Barnes) all of New Orleans, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
