Funeral service will be held February 25, 2018 at 3:00 pm in St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, Picayune Mississippi for Mrs. Ive Alverta “Kitty” Bolden, 91 of Picayune, Mississippi who died February 20, 2018 in Picayune, Mississippi.

The Rev. Michael A. Kelly will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Sandy Hook, Mississippi she was retired from B&W Service at SSC. She was a member of the Sr. Mission, Sunday School Teacher, and Deaconess Board. She also was a lifetime member of the NAACP, and City Wide Mission Union.

Survivors include her daughter, Marshall Roguemore of Poplarville, Mississippi; two sons, Rev. Van A. Bolden, and Tysha E. Bolden both of Picayune, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, 23 great grand children; one sister, Alice Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina; two God Children, Bianca Bell and Cassandra Magee both of Picayune, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held February 25, 2018 from 1:30pm – 3:00 pm in St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, Picayune, Mississippi.
