Funeral services for Sa’rai L. Bagley “Kiwi”, 19, of Picayune, will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pastor Alex Wesco will officiate at the service.
Sa’rai LaMyrah Bagley was born May 11, 1998 in Picayune, Mississippi to Addie Bagley Blackburn and the late Jerry Nixon. Sa’rai attended Picayune Memorial High School.
Sa’rai was a baptized at Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alex Wesco, Jr. She was previously employed by FEMA. She was affectionately called “Kiwi”. Kiwi had a love for children/ babies. She would babysit all the neighborhood children.
Sa’rai LaMyrah Bagley ended this earthly life on December 5, 2017 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Nixon; her brother, Shaquille Lamar Bagley; paternal grandparents, Maggie & George Nixon; maternal grandfather, James Bagley; her uncle Thomas McCray; her cousins, Ladita Nixon and Kinzie White.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving mother, Addie (Theroux) Blackburn; her devoted grandmother, Sarah Ann McCray; two sisters, Alexandreia (Brandon) Nixon and Sylvia McGrew; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to service. Interment will in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
