Funeral service for Whittney Daeshone McDowell, of Picayune, Mississippi, age 30, who died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at home with God’s angels embraced around her will be held at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. Pastor Brian K. Dees Pastor will officiate at the service. Whittney was a member of East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Brian K. Dees where she was baptized. She played basketball for Picayune Maroon Tide in Jr. High and High School.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories son, Jeremiah I. D. McDowell; mother, Barbara Walton; father, Reginald McDowell; step-father, Albert Fairley; two brothers, Jerry Walton, Jr. and Mushun McDowell; sister, Sandra M. Pierre (Yvette); two aunts, Patricia Peters and Hellon Brown; two uncles, Patrick Peters and Zollie Brown, Jr. and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends..

Visitation will be held Sat. July 29, 2017 from 10 until 11 a.m. at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
