Richard E. Tarver

Richard E. Tarver, 86 years old, and former longtime resident of Hancock County, Miss., was called home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved and devoted wife, Ruby O. Frierson; his parents, Hollis L. and Mary E. Tarver; his granddaughter, Tonya Malley; his sisters, Lillian Easley, Frances Lebo, Ada Mae Green, and Elaine Parker; his brothers, Thomas Ingram Tarver and John Paul Tarver; and great-grandson, Steven Dakota Tarver.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, Stanley R. “Ray” (Debra) Tarver, Anthony “Tony” (Regina) Tarver; his brothers, James O. (Lena) Tarver, and Cecil Tarver; his grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Tarver, Tania (Mark) Stockstill, Cally (Josh) Robbins, Jodie (Peter) Fenimore, and Tony Tarver; great-grandchildren, Payton (Andy) Burnett, Krystyna (Daniel) Koropov, Taryna Tarver, Tori Spiers, Jacob Wood, Zachary Wood, Brock Malley, Matthew Carmen, Aaron Fenimore, and Ethan Stockstill; great-great-grandchildren, Chloe Spiers, Stephen Burnett, and Preston Burnett; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral with graveside services to follow immediately after at Turtleskin Cemetery.
