Pearl River Central Water Association has issued a precautionary boil water notice for residents living along Rock Ranch Road, Virgil Lewis Road east and west, Covered Bridge, Her Lee Fred Spiers Road, H.K. Lewis Road and the surrounding areas who were without water or had low water pressure on Jan. 30, 2017. The issue is due to a broken water line.
Residents are urged to boil their water for at least a minute before consumption.
Water samples will be taken for two days and as soon as favorable results are back a boil water notice will be lifted.
