Funeral services for Mary Eloise Lumpkin Ballard-Reaves, 93, of Metairie, LA, who passed away Monday, May 2, 2016, will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, Picayune, MS.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Carriere, MS, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, A. C. Ballard and Joseph Reaves; parents, Emanuel Lumpkin and Rachael Spiers Lumpkin; four brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melva “Kaye” Blohm and her husband Ed, Paula Brunson, Elizabeth “Libby” Arceneaux and her husband Richard; son, Reginald “Reggie” Ballard and his wife Barbara; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchhildren, and eight great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
