Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at noon in Hart’s Chapel Baptist Church. Pastor George Tillman will officiate the home going celebration.
Janice Marie was born on August 1, 1949 to the late Ruby Lee Jones and Andrew J. Calhoun. The late Otho Jones, Sr. entered her life and raised her as one of his children.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. C.D. McSwain, and later became a member of Hart’s Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J.W. Porter, where she remained a faithful member until God saw fit to call her into his kingdom on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
She graduated from George Washington Carver High School, Pearl River Community College and was the owner and operator of G & J Enterprises.
Janice Marie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Reverend Harvey Graham on July 22, 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Jones, Andrew Calhoun, and Otho Jones, Sr.; sister, Regina Hart; brother, John Jones; great grandchild, Sydnee Knox and two aunts, Ida Hart and Mary Smith.
Sister Janice M. Graham leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, six children, Latania (Alex) Grant, Ruby (Kenneth) McMooain, Minister Adam (LeAnna) Calhoun, Harvey (Rachel) Calhoun, Elder Louis (Steffani) Graham, and Alonzo Graham; nine siblings, Sylvia (Rodney) Goff, Henry Allen, James (Laura) Jones, Otho Jones,Jr., Lee Jones, Andre Jones, Andrew (Christy) Calhoun, Regina Calhoun and Vickie Calhoun; 20 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 god children; one aunt, Pauline Javery; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the church.  Interment will be in the Hart’s Chapel Cemetery.
