Funeral services for Robert Wayne Stephens, Sr. age 81, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Carriere.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Carriere.
Burial will be in Carriere Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Ray Taylor will officiate the service.
A native of Minden, LA, he was a computer technician at Sperry Univac. Bob was also a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Carriere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Otis Stephens and Ella Elizabeth Beck Stephens; his wife, Hilda Jean Thompson Stephens; his sisters,
Myrtis Fallen, Thelma Sperandio, and Marjorie Culpepper; and his brother, J.B. Stephens.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert (Janet) Stephens, Jr., George (Casey) Stephens, and Daniel (Jen) Stephens; and 6 grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, John, Katie, Matthew, and Jacob.
