Memorial Services for Neal Gibson Jr., age 87 of  Picayune, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service.
A native of Lucedale, Miss., he was a Realtor but better known as Neal with Gibson Roofing. Neal was an US Army Veteran and former Commander of the Picayune VFW Post 3804.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal Gibson and Sally Alford Gibson; sisters, Allene Brannon and Hazel Howell; brother, Paul Gibson.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of over 63 years, Audrey Carver Gibson; daughter, Stephanie (Robert) Youngblood; son, John (Lyn) Gibson; brother in law, John S. Carver; 3 grandchildren, Ryan (Carla) Crider, Mary Youngblood, and Brittany (Christopher) Waltz; 5 great grandchildren, Logan, Brentlea, Grace, Tripp, and Damon; sisters, Alice Strickland, Pauline Crocken, Euleon Denman, and Alethea Young; many nieces and nephews.
