The Picayune Police Department needs help identifying two suspects involved in credit card fraud at Walmart.

On Sunday, May 3 a complainant filed a report with the department after she allegedly noticed fraudulent charges on her credit card, Picayune Police Department Det. Christa Groom said.

The fraudulent credit card transactions involved several purchases at Walmart, RaceTrac and for a taxi ride on Thursday, April 30. All of the purchases were made within a five-hour period, Groom said.

The complainant believes she accidentally dropped her card somewhere around the Walmart parking lot, Groom said.

Investigators identified two white male suspects through the store’s surveillance cameras, Groom said.

The two suspects are believed to have entered Walmart where they purchased electronics together. Afterwards, the suspect pictured in orange is believed to have bought products at the RaceTrac gas station near Walmart and a taxi ride to New Orleans, Groom said.

The suspects made more than $1,000 worth of purchases on the credit card, Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri said.

“We believe the suspect in orange is in New Orleans but the other suspect’s location remains unknown,” Magri said.

Magri asks anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects to contact the Picayune Police Department at 601-798-7411 or Crime Stoppers at 601-799-2583
