A former standout football player at Pearl River Community College is dead.

Rashod Henry, who helped Lumberton High School to consecutive Class 2A football state championships in 2004-05 and played for the Wildcats for one season in 2009, died Wednesday morning from complications after getting stabbed in a Hattiesburg nightclub altercation last week.
