The 2014 Krewe of the Pearl Mardi Gras parade rolled on Monday night with King Steve and Queen Ann McDonald leading the floats with their Royal Court. The theme was “Enchantment Under the Sea,” and floats were decorated accordingly.

Greater Picayune Area Chamber of Commerce Board member Beth Stewart Lenoir rode the Greater Picayune Arts Council float with her son Charles and said, “We really enjoyed this event. A good crowd of people were out and everyone appeared to have a great time. We are proud of the Chamber and GPAC for bringing Mardi Gras to Picayune and look forward to growing this event for next year.”

As of this time, no date has been set for the 2015 Mardi Gras parade.
