Funeral Services for Elmer L. Webb, 80, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014, will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of McNeill.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 6- 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church of McNeill, there will be a second visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
Burial will be in McNeill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Tim Parker will officiate the service.
A native of McCauley, Texas, he was a Production Superintendent for Chevron Oil Corporation, a deacon, and member of First Baptist Church of McNeill for many years. He enjoyed mowing his lawn and did his greatest thinking while cutting his yard. Poppa Webb loved everyone and considered all of the members of his church his family. He was an honorable man, loving husband, and father who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clarence A. Webb and Mary E. McCright Webb; his loving wife of almost 55 wonderful years, Shirley Hollandsworth Webb; his two brothers, Roy A. Webb and Billy Joe Webb; and his sister, Gladys Landreth.
Survivors include his two daughters, Vickie L. Webb and Mary Leann Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
