Memorial Funeral Services for Sylvia J. Kessling, 81, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, at 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Mcdonald Funeral Home .

Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father John Noone will officiate the service.

Sylvia was a Homemaker who lived in Chalmette, LA for 48 years. She relocated to the Picayune area after Hurricane Katrina and became a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She loved gardening and everyone loved visiting her beautiful flower gardens.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Alexander L. Williams and Alice Bourne Williams; her husband of 59 years, Earl P. Kessling Sr.; her two brothers, Larry Williams and Leopold Williams; her five sisters, Florence Lund, Grace Arabie, Frances Waguespack, Verda Tregre, and Louise Pontiff.

Survivors include: her three sons, Earl P. Kessling Jr., Glenn J. Kessling, Perry M. Kessling,; her daughter, Barbara K. Patrolia; her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Pauline Devine.
