Graveside Funeral Services for Peggy Jeanette Adams, 83, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Friday, February 15, 2013, will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 12 p.m. at Mill Creek Cemetery, Salem Community.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mill Creek Cemetery, Salem Community under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Brookhaven, Miss., she was a homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed outdoor activities, mowing the grass, and keeping her house clean. Jeanette loved watching tv and keeping in contact with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Elam Jarrett Hall and Madelle Waldrop Hall; her husband, Charles W. Adams of 60 years; one son, James Douglas Adams; one grandson, Donal Wayne Adams Jr.; and one daughter in law, Ruby Adams.
Survivors include: her children: Ray Adams, Wayne Adams Sr., Dianne Landrum, and Sue Jordan and husband Raymond; five grandchildren: Donal Ray, Larry Todd, Russell, Jennifer, and James; 13 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Gabrielle, Madison, Sheyanne, Colton, Rylen, Cadyn, Selena, Ashley, Chelsey, Chance, Garren, and Hernesto; her brother, J.D. Hall and wife Pat; and her sister, Artie Lea Lee.
