Salvadore Robert Lamonte Sr., 75, of Picayune passed away Monday, May 9, 2011.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 1-3 p.m., funeral services at 3 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home with burial following at Memorial Gardens.

Salvadore was born in New Orleans and moved to Picayune from Metairie twenty-one years ago. He was a self employed Painter and of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Lamonte Sr., and Mary Reeves Lamonte.

He is survived by: his companion of eighteen years, Patricia A. Holland; two sons, Salvadore Lamonte Jr. of Picayune and David Holland of Picayune; five daughters: Cynthia Holland of Picayune, Angela Holland (Dale Fasske) of Picayune, Mandy King of Picayune, Peggy Behre of Metairie, La. and Charlene Jackman of Picayune; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
