A former Regions Bank vice president has pleaded guilty to 15 counts of exploitation of a child after thousands of pictures were found on his computer following a raid on his home in 2009.
Claude Coleman entered the plea Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court. Prosecutors say his sentencing was delayed until February.
District Attorney Tony Lawrence says Coleman still faces charges of touching a child for lustful purposes and sexual battery in Jackson, George and Lauderdale counties. He says those cases involve local children and have yet to go to court.
Authorities say Coleman was arrested after a two-month investigation triggered by a call from the mother of an alleged victim.
