Authorities say a 47-year-old Pass Christian man died in a motorcycle accident.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says Garry L. Price died of massive injuries Saturday.

A second motorcyclist, 42-year-old Robert E. Smith Jr., of Gulfport, survived his injuries. Smith was treated at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.

Cpl. Johnny Poulos said occurred near Pearlington. Price was pronounced dead at Hancock Medical Center.

Poulos said the two motorcyclists left the road in a curve, slamming into the guard rail.

He said the motorcycles were eastbound when the accident occurred.
