Memorial Services will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Picayune for Wallace L. Bruner, 83, of Folsom, La., who passed away March 31, 2010 at the VAMC in Biloxi, Miss.
A native of Elm Grove, La., he was a Meat Inspector for the USDA, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, a graduate of LSU and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Preston and Ruth Brunson Bruner; and his wife of 58 1/2 years, Mary Nell Bruner.
Survivors include: wife, Betty Bruner of Folsom, La.; son, John Bruner of Carriere; daughters, Elaine Hill of Picayune and Mary Ann Filko of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren: Scott Hill, Caroline Filko, and Spenser Filko; great-grandchild, Monica Hill; brother, Elton Bruner of Elm Grove; and several step- children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
