Girl Scout Troop 6423 are setting their goals high and are working toward rebuilding a concession  at a Picayune park.

As unrealistic as it may seem, the girls and their Troop leader think that it can be done.

The four girls, Katrina Jones, Celeste Carter, Nastassia Poole, and Larencia Woods are working toward their Gold Award by rebuilding the concession stand located at Snyder Park on Beech Street in Picayune.

The Scouts are trying to raise $14,000 and they are asking for donations to help make this possible.

“Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated,” said Ms. Beverly Woods, Co-Leader of Girl Scout Troop 6423. The Leader of the Troop is Ms. Doris Thomas. “We are asking you to please keep them in your prayers.”

Their advisors for the project are Ms. Barbara McGrew and Ms. Viria May.

Please make all checks payable to Girl Scout Troop 6423 and can be given to any one of their girls or their advisors or they can be mailed to Girl Troop 6243, Gold Award Project, 25 Magenta Lane, Picayune, MS 39466.

“Thank you for any assistance you may provide,” said Woods.
