The Picayune Civic Women’s Club annual Christmas parade will be Monday evening at 6 p.m.

The parade will take the traditional route, beginning on and following Goodyear Boulevard to U.S. 11 where it will turn right on U.S. 11 heading south. The parade will then turn right onto Bruce Street and then another right onto Main Street. From Main Street the parade will turn left onto Canal Street and follow that road until it reaches the intersection of Kirkwood and Goodyear next to the hospital.

Each float in the parade will not be allowed to play music or begin throwing any throws until they pass the hospital.

Weather predictions for that day state the temperatures will be in the mid to high 40s with a 40 percent chance of rain.
