Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Val W. Kientz II, 55, of Covington, La., who passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 in Houston, Texas.

Burial will be in Flat Top Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, La., he was an attorney and a member of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Valentine W. Kientz, Sr.

Survivors include: his wife, Renee Kientz of Metairie, La.; his mother, Glenna Kientz of Waveland, Miss.; two brothers, Brian D. Kientz of Kiln, Miss. and Kenneth Kientz of Waveland, Miss.; one sister, Diane Aguilar of Slidell, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
