‘The Pony Expresso’

Prepare yourself for April 17 and 18 when Picayune On Stage begins to serve up a heaping helping of melodrama with coffee themed comedy. Just like the delightful mix of coffee beans and water, puns, villains, heroes and damsels in distress easily go together in “The Pony Expresso,” directed by Tara Poolson.
Come join in the fun as Temporary Sheriff Buck Brawn goes toe to toe with the notoriously evil Mo Cabana while Star Bright and her aunt, Dee Caff, own and operate The Pony Expresso — a coffee shop set in the wild west. Mo Cabana and his sidekick, Fifi Latte, plan to take over the small business and the entire town of Waterpit. Can Temporary Sheriff Buck Brawn save the day or will his one true love, Star Bright, be cast aside like yesterday’s coffee grounds?
The show will open as a dinner theater production at The Senior Center in Picayune at 6:30 p.m. on April 17 and 18, with encore performances held at Picayune On Stage on April 24, 25, and May 1, 2 at 8 p.m. and April 26 and May 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets for the dinner theater shows are $33.50, while tickets for the encore performances are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for students. Please call the Picayune On Stage box office for tickets and more information, 601-749-5551.
