Authorities are hoping an autopsy will lead to the identity of a man whose body was found in the Pearl River in Copiah County.
Sheriff Harold Jones says the body was found Monday by a fisherman just north of Mississippi Highway 28 near the Georgetown community.
Jones says the river is at a high level, and the current is pretty fast, which means the body could have floated for a great distance before it was discovered.
