Authorities say a 32-year-old man who walked six blocks for help after being shot five times in Vicksburg is listed in fair condition at a hospital.
The shooting occurred Saturday afternoon and Vicksburg police investigator Ken Smith says there have been no arrests in the case.
Shawn Russell, whose address is unknown, walked six blocks from the shooting scene and was found and assisted by residents who called an ambulance.
Police say a woman is being interviewed who may have been with Russell when the shooting occurred. The woman’s identity was not released.
