Two inmates who escaped from the Harrison County jail in 2008 have pleaded guilty to felony jail escape and other charges.
Prosecutors say Dustin D. Griffin and William Arevalo entered the pleas Tuesday before Circuit Court Judge Roger Clark. Clark sentenced Griffin to four years in prison and Arevalo to five years in prison for the escape charges.
The two men and two others, Mark Kee Brown and Cody Blair Green, escaped from the jail the morning of Jan. 27, 2008. Brown is still awaiting trial on the felony escape charge as well as an additional capital murder charge. Green committed suicide shortly after his capture.
