Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008, at 12 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Omar A. Haas, 80, of Kiln, Miss., who passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 in Gulfport, Miss.

Burial will be in the Bayou Coco Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Noel Fannon will officiate at the service.

A native of Bay St. Louis, Miss., he was retired from Hancock Bank and he was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Alleyne Haas.

Survivors include: his wife, Ann Hariel Haas of Kiln; his daughter, Kassie (Kenny) Campbell of Pineville, La.; his son, Hunter (Francisca) Haas of Kiln; his step-son, Curtis (Daphanie) Paige of Crane Creek, Miss.; five grandchildren: Sarah, Hannah, Bella, Noah and Carolina; and his brother, Vernon “Dutch” Haas of Kiln.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
