A D’Iberville man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a 12-year-old child.

Harrison County Circuit Judge Larry Bourgeois on Wednesday sentenced 39-year-old Patrick Andrew Hebert after he pleaded guilty to the charge against him.

Hebert faced up to 40 years.

Prosecutor say Hebert had moved to the area from St. Tammany Parish in Louisiana for work when the incident occurred in May 2006.
