Authorities say burglary, arson suspected in store fire

Authorities say a fire that damaged a store in Gulfport could have been set intentionally after the business was burglarized

Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said a fire at the Step and Style Fashion appears to have been intentionally set. But authorities were not sure what, if anything, was stolen

The broke out Friday about 7:30 a.m., destroying most of the clothing and other contents in the store.

Sullivan said that the building would likely be salvageable.

No one was injured in the fire.
