The GFWC-MFWC Civic Woman’s Club of Picayune has begun its plans for this year’s Christmas parade, Dec. 3, 2007. This year’s theme will be a “Christmas Wish.” Parade Chairman, Darlene Adams, and Co-Chairman, Mary Ellen Bright, met with Deputy Chief David Irvin and Capt. Laurence Krantz of the Picayune Police Department to go over the parade rules.
Adams said the rules are attached to the entry form and all participants must adhere to them or be asked to leave the parade.
“We have to implement these rules for everyone’s safety and concern,” said Adams.
Entry forms may be picked up at the Picayune Chamber of Commerce, MeLinda’s Fine Gifts and More and Handy Cleaners. Space is limited and entries will be taken until spots are full.
