Bomb threat at Picayune Memorial High School

There was a bomb threat at Picayune Memorial High School Monday afternoon, resulting in the lockdown of the school at about 1:15 p.m.
Fire department and law enforcement officials blocked all roads around the school, including one fire truck that was blocking Goodyear Boulevard.
An unidentified officer at the scene said the campus was in total lockdown, with no one entering or leaving the campus. The officer said the situation was under control, with an appropriate number of officials on hand to handle the situation.
