Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of McNeill for the Rev. Arlie Lott, 80, of McNeill, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in McNeill.
Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of McNeill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.
The Rev. Tim Parker will officiate at the service and will be assisted by the Rev. Wayne Anderson, the Rev. Dan Bond and the Rev. Jerry Hubbard.
A native of McNeill, he was a retired minister and construction worker and a member of the First Baptist Church of McNeill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Susie Lott; one brother, Douglas Lott; one sister, Era Stewart; and one grandson, Trey Linden.
Survivors include: his wife, Frances Lott of McNeill; children, Lynn P. Smith, Michael Wayne Lott, Sue Lott Mitchell and Charlotte L. Maynard all of McNeill; three sisters, Vera Stewart and Daliah McCormick Jones both of McNeill and Sherry Warlick of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home and on Saturday, May 26, 2007 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of McNeill.
