Paul Ford Smith

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the New Palestine Cemetery for Paul Ford Smith, 97, of Huntsville, Ala., formerly of Picayune who passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 in Huntsville.

Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune.

Dr. Keith Warden will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, he was accountant and a member of the First Baptist Church of Picayune. A lifelong resident of Picayune, Mr. Smith was an avid salt and freshwater fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Smith.

Survivors include: two daughters, Paula Brown and her husband, Richard, of Huntsville and Susan Ashley and her husband, Bill, of Carlsbad, Calif.; grandchildren, Allyson Maske and Topher Brown; great-grandchildren, Emma Stewart Maske and Jamison Davis Maske.

There will be no visitation.
