Ethel Washington

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church in Picayune for Mrs. Ethel Washington, 90, of Picayune who passed away April 18, 2006 in Picayune.

The Rev. Delbert Hall will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune.

A native of Picayune, she was retired from Picayune Public School. She was a member of the Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church and she held the oldest membership in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Senior Choir, Pilgrim Bound Gospel Chorus, Mission #2, Sunday School Member and Heroine of Jericho Court #340.

Survivors include: one daughter, Lauren Harry of Picayune; one sister Eartha Lewis of Lacombe, La.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church.

Baylous Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
