Three vehicle accident

A multiple vehicle accident left all three drivers with injuries, according to an accident report from the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred Thursday at about 6:49 p.m. when a northbound driver, identified as Jessica T. Daigle, 21, 308 Mulberry St., Purvis driving a Chevy Impala crossed over into the south bound lane and struck an eighteen wheeler driven by Charles Dobbin, 56, 4722 Buford Dr., Fayetteville, N.C.
Daigle’s vehicle then collided head on with a Nissan Altima driven by Marion A. Mitchell, 43, of 30 Asa McQueen, Picayune, the report states.
The report states that Daigle suffered pulmonary contusions while Mitchell suffered cervical spine fractures with no paralysis, broken facial bone, bilateral rib fractures, bilateral contusion, pulmonary contusion and cardiac contusion.
Dobbin suffered an open ankle fracture and a patella fracture, the report states.
The report lists no fatalities or where the accident victims were taken for medical treatment. Daigle and Mitchell’s vehicles were both listed as totaled.
