Services are at a later date for Robert C. Powell, 73, of Carriere, who died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Wisconsin, he was an oil service manager and a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Powell of Carriere; a daughter, Sue Ellen Powell of Carriere; four sons, Michael Powell of Austin, Texas, Patrick Powell of Glenrose, Texas, Timothy Powell of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Christopher Powell of Carriere; a sister, Georgia Higgins of Columbia, S.C., and 12 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to Hospice Care of Louisiana/Mississippi, 770 Gause Blvd., Slidell, LA 70458.
