Services are at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel for Stanley M. Neal, 82, of Slidell, La., who died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, in Picayune.

Bro. Wendell Smith officiates at the service. Burial is in Thigpen Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, he was a retired truck driver and a member of Leetown Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lucenia Smith Neal; two sons, Glennis M. Neal, Sr. of Picayune and Gary L. Neal of Slidell; Two daughters, Theresa Gayle Neal Carter and Vida Gay Nell Neal, both of Slidell; a brother, Gerald L. Neal of Florida; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley N. Neal.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at the funeral home.
