Meet the Wildcats Night

Pearl River Community College’s annual “Meet the Wildcats Night” is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday night in Dobie Holden Stadium.
The 2006 Wildcat football team, featuring head football coach Tim Hatten and his staff, the men’s and women’s soccer teams, all athletic support staff, the “Spirit of the River” marching band, the “String of Pearls” dance team and the PRCC cheerleading squad will be introduced.
Following the introductions, the Wildcat football team will hold its final scrimmage of the preseason before next week’s first game.
PRCC fall athletics kick off this week with the soccer schedule. The Wildcats travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a pair of games Saturday and Sunday. The Wildcat football team opens its season Thursday, Aug. 31, on the road against Mississippi Delta Community College.Reserved season football tickets are now on sale at Pearl River Community College.
Tickets for all four home games, with seats in the chair-backed section on the 50-yard line are $48 each. Individual game selection in the reserved section are $12 per ticket per game.
The first home game is Thursday, Sept. 7, against Coahoma Community College. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Season ticket holders will have first choice of seats and complimentary parking near the stadium. General admission tickets this season are $4 for students and $7 for adults.
