PICAYUNE — Entry forms for the annual Christmas Parade are now available. Deadline for entries is Friday, November 23rd, and the public is reminded that there is a limit to number of entries which can be accepted for the parade. Forms may be picked up from: Greater Area Picayune Chamber of Commerce office on Highway 11 South; both locations of MeLinda’s Fine Gifts; Handy Cleaners on Highway 11 North and April’s on Highway 11 South. The parade is scheduled for Monday, December 3rd at 6 p.m. It will follow the traditional parade route. “A Patriotic Christmas” is the theme of this year’s parade and honors our recently deployed National Guard Unit. Entries will not be accepted either after the deadline date or when all entry spots have been filled, whichever comes first. There will be no telephone or verbal entries.
