MEADVILLE — A Franklin County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested.
Lincoln County Sheriff Steve Rushing says 38-year-old Bryan A. Emfinger of Meadville was charged with computerized luring of a person under 18 for sexual purposes. Rushing says Emfinger was arrested after sending questionable text messages to a juvenile Lincoln County female.
Franklin County Sheriff James Newman confirms that the juvenile is a former stepdaughter of Emfinger’s, and that charges were filed by her natural father.
Emfinger was released on bond following his arrest on Monday.
