JACKSON, Miss. — A Coahoma County supervisor accused of soliciting prostitutes on SugarDaddyforMe.com wants records from a cell phone apparently used by an agent who set him up.
Federal prosecutors claim Dr. Roger Wiener solicited women he thought were out-of-state prostitutes.
He has pleaded not guilty. Weiner’s lawyer says he’ll be vindicated. Trial is set for July 27.
Wiener’s attorneys have been trying to obtain documents that show the locations of a Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics cell phone when it was used during the sting.
A hearing on the matter is set for Thursday.
Wiener wants “cell site tower location records” from dates in May that correspond with alleged conversations between Weiner and an undercover agent.
