Moss Point — Picayune’s season came to an end Friday night, as Moss Point beat the Maroon Tide 35-20 in the Class 5A South State semifinals at Dantzler Stadium.
Moss Point jumped ahead 21-0 in the second quarter, and Picayune never led. The Tigers took a 28-0 lead on the second play in the third quarter, The Maroon Tide closed the gap to 28-12
