The Ministry of Growing Great Fathers Men’s Conference 2012

PICAYUNE — Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 will mark the 2nd year for the Growing Great Father’s Men’s Conference, under the leadership of Apostle Johnnie R. and Prophet Thereasa Ball, pastors of Christian Embassy Fellowship in Picayune, Miss.

“God inspired my heart and spirit to gather fathers, potential and expecting fathers to discuss their roles that play or will play in the lives of their children”, says Minister David Lee Hughes, founder of the Growing Great Fathers ministry. “The mission of The Ministry of Growing Great Fathers is to deliver, within established guidelines of professional assistance, information to improve the self-image of the participants. The ultimate purpose is to increase participant’s awareness concerning the impact of a father’s absence; to assist in becoming team parents — by co-parenting with the mother — in the areas of; shared legal custody, educational, financial and emotional responsibilities of the child or children.

This year’s theme is “Step Up And Be A Leader”.  Minister Hughes believes that God wants the man to take his rightful position in the home and guide the family as God has predestinated. All men are invited to come and be apart of this great move that is taking place in Picayune. There will be opportunities to share experiences of being a father, potential or expecting father, and opportunities to ask questions and gain feedback from the scheduled facilitators.

“We are so very happy and truly blessed to have acquired this year’s contributing Picayune sponsors; Wal-Mart, Pontchartrain Foods (dba)Popeye’s, Trinity Outreach Ministries and Christian Embassy Fellowship Women Ministry”, said Minister Hughes.

Conference facilitators will be; Apostle Johnnie R. Ball and Prophet Carl Flowers . The motivational speakers will be the Rev. Otis Jones and Pastor Charles Haynes.

The conference will start at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. A hearty lunch will be served for all participants. This conference is closed to anyone under the age of fifteen years old.

The conference is free and open to the adult public, however, a free-will offering will be appreciated.

Come, learn and grow in the knowledge of God and become the men and fathers He has ordained you to be.
