PICAYUNE — First Presbyterian Church of Picayune is hosting a Spiritual Life Conference August 24 – 26, 2012.

The Guest Speaker will be the Rev. Al Baker, a gospel minister with an extensive background in church planting, missions, and evangelism. He is presently the director of The Alabama Church Planting Network and an Evangelistic Revival Preacher with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship.

Al is the author of a weekly devotional entitled “Forget None of His Benefits,” which is distributed nationwide via e-mail. He has now started a radio ministry called “Between Two Worlds” — a daily, fifteen minute program designed to instruct and challenge believers to seek God for a mighty movement of His Spirit in our day. He and his wife Wini reside in Birmingham, Ala. They have three grown sons, all married, and seven grandchildren.

The conference will begin with seasons of revival prayer Friday night from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. On Sunday, Rev. Baker will be bringing messages on spiritual renewal, revival, and personal evangelism. Sunday begins with breakfast at 9:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by Rev. Baker teaching Sunday School in the parlor. Rev. Baker will preach at the 10:45 morning worship service and at 5 p.m. in the evening worship service.

Please join First Presbyterian Church of Picayune in praying for revival and a mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit during this exciting conference.

The church is located at 401 Fifth Ave. in Picayune, for more information contact the church at 601-798-6189.
