PICAYUNE —
It’s that time of year again. The Picayune Item is gearing up for its year-in-review Pearl River County Today “Progress” edition.
The edition which is published the last Saturday in February, profiles life in Pearl River County.
Sections include Religion, Clubs and Recreation, Education, Ag and Industry, and Government and services. The “Progress” edition affords a rare glimpse into what makes Pearl River County and its people so unique.
The articles usually contain a brief history, officers and staff information, recap of activities in 2012, and plans for 2013. A staff photo, facility photo, or activity photo can also be included.
Due to space constraints each church, club, or religious organization is offered a 1/4 page spot without charge (5”x5.25”), most articles will easily fit into this size. If a larger space is desired the additional space must be purchased. Contact Nick, Brittany, or Molly at 601-798-4766 for details.
If your church, organization, or club wishes to be included in the “Progress” edition, we need to have your articles and photos as soon as possible. Deadlines will be announced within the next few days, watch the Item for details.
Articles can be dropped by the Item office, emailed to picayuneitem@bellsouth.com, or faxed in at 601-798-8602. Photos must be dropped by the office or emailed.
