The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church of Picayune invite the public to attend a World Day of Prayer service and luncheon on Friday, March 2.
Singer/songwriter Maura McIntosh will present a collection of original and familiar songs that tell of her journey as she seeks God’s direction and experiences His love each day. She will share her witness in testimony as she expresses her deep faith through her music.
The prayer service will begin at noon in the church sanctuary at the corner of Fourth Street and North Haugh, and will be followed from 12:30-1 p.m. by a soup and salad luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Please make reservations for the $5 luncheon by calling the church office at 601-798-4321 by Tuesday, Feb. 28. A nursery will be provided.
