MC plans FCA benefit
CLINTON, MS — The Choctaw Trails is the site of the Mississippi College Endurance Challenge, a race to benefit MC’s chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Saturday, April 14, 7:30 a.m. Costs are $25 for the 5K, $40 for the Duathlon (5K run, 12K bike race/2K run); $10 fee for one-mile fun run and a relay option for the Duathlon costing $75. Brother’s Keeper Ministries will hold a Fried Fish or Chicken plate fundraiser Friday, April 20, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., all food will be served. Cost is $9 per plate, take out only. Pick up plates at Brother's Keeper, 208 N. Main St. in Poplarville. Tickets are available from any Brother's Keeper Volunteer or onsite April 20. All proceeds will go to support the food pantry.
