Alopecia support group
The new group, Mississippi Alopecia Areata Support Group, will hold their first meeting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 in the Lamar County Richburg Voting Precinct/ Community Center, 324 Sandy Run Road, Hattiesburg, MS 39402. Alopecia areata is a life-altering disease that results in the loss of hair on the scalp and elsewhere on the body. Activities set at Flat Top
Flat Top Unity Baptist Church has planned the following activities:
— Saturday Night Service - first saturday of month at 6 pm. Refreshments to follow. Next service Feb. 2, 2013.
— Mission trip fundraisers (going on trip in March): Feb. 9, 2013 - yard sale, Feb.16, 2013 - auction.
— March 23, 2013 - Easter egg hunt
— March 24, 2013: morning service 11 a.m. - Children’s Easter Cantata. Lunch to follow.
— VBS dates: June 17-22, 2013, nightly 6-9 p.m. Saturday program and water day the 22nd.
