PICAYUNE — Spring revivals are blooming

Several area churches have planned Spring Revivals.

They include, but are not limited to:

— George Ford Baptist Church, Sunday, April 1st with lunch after morning worship. Nightly services Monday thru Friday at 7 pm. Elder Billy Reyer will be the visiting evangelist. Everyone invited to attend.

— Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 1386 McNeill-Steephollow Rd. in Carriere, Miss., April 4-7 at 7 p.m. nightly. On April 8, Sunrise Services will be 6 a.m., Sunday School at 8 a.m., and morning worship services at 9 a.m. The choir will be performing the Easter Cantata “Champion of Love” during the Sunday morning services. — Unity Baptist Church, 3334 Hwy 43 N. in Picayune, April 1-4. There will be a total of five services with five different Gospel preachers. Sunday times are 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday -Wednesday at 7 p.m.

— St. Matthew Baptist Church revival is at 7 p.m. Monday, April 2-Friday, April 6.

SONrise Service slated

Easter SONrise Service Schedule will be held at Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 386 McNeill-Steephollow Rd. in Carriere, Easter Sunday April 8, 2012. Sunrise Service is 6 a.m. (followed by a time for fellowship and refreshments), Sunday School at 8 a.m., Worship Service is at 9 a.m. The Easter Cantata “Champion of Love” A Celebration for Easter created and arranged by Craig Adams will be presented during the morning worship service. There will be no evening service to allow for time with your family and friends. For more information contact the church at 601-798-3008 or 601-799-1963.

Palm Sunday services Apr. 1

 The Anointed Dove Ministries extends an invitation to all of the community to join in celebration of Palm Sunday at 10 a.m., on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Presiding Bishop Anthony S. Pressley will conduct Holy Communion service, including the message of the meaning of Christ’s death and resurrection. Come, invite your family and friends, the church is located at 18 Stafford Road, Picayune, MS”.

Gospel Music Explosion set

Bethlehem Baptist Church will present a Gospel Musical Explosion, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 7 p.m. Special Guests are J. C. and Company, of New Orleans and others local groups. The public is Invited to attend. For more information 601-799-0309.
